Abu Dhabi, is the capital and the second largest city in the United Arab Emirates, might not be one of the biggest centers for excellence in the world of art. But the arts of Abu Dhabi are exquisite and awe-inspiring in themselves and they are marching towards global fame in the recent years Remarkable progression in the culture of Abu Dhabi can be seen in the development of art forms in the Abudhabi city. Even though very few Emirati artistes have made a mark on the international scene, things are surely improving for the bettering the recent years. In fact, women of Abu Dhabi are leading the bandwagon in marching towards global appreciation.
The Abu Dhabi Cultural Foundation has played the biggest role in promoting arts in Abu Dhabi.This Cultural Foundation has a number of art centers, theaters, concert halls.seminars,workshops ,discussions and Exhibitions showcasing the local arts are held here on a frequent basis.
